For families
For families with kids learning music
One or two adults sharing the oversight; one or several kids practicing. The whole arrangement in one calm app.
Family life around music practice has more moving parts than most apps assume. There's usually more than one adult who needs visibility, a spouse, a coparent, sometimes a grandparent who runs the after-school routine. There's often more than one kid, on different instruments, at different stages. There are lessons and rehearsals scattered across the week, recitals nobody can afford to miss, and exam dates that creep up. Most apps reduce all of this to a single adult, a single child, and a streak counter. We don't.
My Crescender Family is the surface that handles real-family music life, calmly, transparently, with privacy as the default. Children never have accounts; they use the app via a parent-issued code. Both adults see the same view, in real time, on their own phones. Everything is offline-first so practice in the back of the car or at the cabin still gets logged.
Built for multi-adult households
The first adult creates the family. From Settings they invite the second adult (or third, or fourth), each gets their own Crescender account, never a shared login. Both are equal owners: either can add a child, adjust a goal, edit a calendar event, or trigger a data export. Notifications fire on both phones (opt-in). Practice logged on one parent's phone shows up on the other's within seconds.
Designed for separated households too. Two adults who don't live together can both run the family from their own phones, both supervise practice at their respective houses, both see the same combined record. The data model doesn't encode the relationship between adults, it just knows that both are attached to this family.
Built for multiple children
Add as many children as you want, each with their own profile, instrument(s), daily practice goal, and history. The parent dashboard shows them all at once with per-kid progress rings. The kid surface, when unlocked on a shared device, lets the kids pick whose practice this is.
Per-kid goals, per-kid notifications, per-kid privacy controls. A nine-year-old practising violin daily and a six-year-old just starting piano have very different needs; the app respects that without making you configure ten different things.
Built for the privacy you'd want for your own kids
My Crescender Family carries no advertising and includes no advertising SDKs. Children's data is never used for ad targeting and never reaches a third-party behavioural-profiling tracker. The kid surface has no chat, no leaderboards, no comparing your child's progress to other people's. The full privacy notice is plain-English and parent-readable.
